A number of scholarships are granted for deserving students.

GIT Excellence Awards

Excellence awards are offered on the basis of demonstrated proficiency in a specific academic, performing or artistic area. Grades become a factor only when students have comparable skill. Preference shall be given to those who possess comparatively better grades and skills.

Excellence awards are generally awarded to students in following categories:

Selection panel comprising of the Director, Principal, Registrar, two faculty representatives, Chairman’s representative, and an external moderator shall be formed to ensure objectivity and impartiality in the selection process.

The panel shall consider achievements and contributions in the academic session 2007-08. The decision of the panel shall be final and all proceedings of the selection panel shall be confidential.

Scholarships for CAT and GATE

GIT offers scholarships to select students who wish to pursue coaching for CAT and GATE examinations.
