Industrial Tour |
|
Students of MBA Part II went for an
industrial tour to Mumbai and Goa from 6th November to
14th November 2007. They visited Gems and Jewellery Park
and Coca cola Bottling Plant at Mumbai and Goa Shipyard
Limited, Elin Electronics, Ritika Industries and Satya
Industries at Goa. Students of MBA Part I visited the
Hindustan Beverages (Coca Cola) at Kala Dera, Jaipur. |

Workshop on Interview skills |
| A
three days workshop on ‘Interview Skills’ was organized from
17th to 19th February 2007 for the students of III and final
year B.E. Mr. Rahul Mehta familiarized the students with certain
do’s and don’ts to be born in mind while preparing for an
interview. Students also learnt about body language, effective
self introduction and how to perform best in interviews. |

Lecture on ‘General Scenario of Financial Sector’ by Shri
Madhukar |

 Shri
Madhukar, Former CMD, United Bank of India delivered a lecture
on 16th December 2006 to the students of MBA Part I and II on
‘General Scenario of Financial Sector’. The occasion was graced
with the presence of Shri Anand Singhal, Chairman, GIT, Prof.
Neeraj Gupta, Director, GIT, Dr.S.P.Gupta, Principal, GIT, Shri
S.K.Pohkarna, Registrar, GIT and some senior faculty members.
Shri Madhukar, in his lecture drew the difference between how
management students looked upon Finance as a subject in the past
and how the present generation learns it with a keen interest.
He also answered some of the queries. A formal meeting with the
faculty members was also arranged in which Mr. Madhukar shared
his views on financial management. |
