Rudrika 10 at Global Institute of Technology, Sitapura

Rudrika-10 is the 8th Annual cultural fiesta of Rudrika-10, the cultural fiesta of Global Institute of Technology. Every year, GIT celebrates a huge cultural festival which is carried out for a period of 3 to 4 days and its charms are remembered for the whole year. This year also Rudrika was celebrated with same Zeal and Enthusiasm. Rudrika-10 started on 12th March, 2010 and the Grand Finale was conducted on 14th March, 2010. The 3-day event comprised of various colorful activities like Face Painting, Hair Styling, Tattoo Making, Rangoli Making, Poster Making , Collage Making and many more. Apart from this various other competitions like Antakshari , Cricket Quiz , Extempore , Debate , Bollywood Mania , Singing , Solo , Duet , Group Dancing and De-guiesment (Fashion Parade) were also brought before the audience. The Inauguration of the event was done in the Seminar Hall by Honorable Principal, Dr. S.P.Gupta Sir, in presence of Registrar, Mr. S.K.Pokharna Sir and various Head of Departments and other Senior Faculty Members. This was followed by Lamp Lightning and Saraswati Vandana sung by Dr. Bhawana Mathur Ma’am. Then the festival started with singing competition. The 3-day event was carried out within the college premises and the Grand Finale was conducted in the college lawn. A crowd of nearly twelve hundred students and 147 faculty members (including non-technical staff also) were present to witness the evening. The evening started by Lamp Lightning done by the Chief Guest, Chairman , Mr. Anand Singhal Sir, followed by the Annual Report presented by Principal Sir. Various Academic, Sports and other achievement prizes were presented to all the young achievers. Apart from this Six Ramp Themes, Seven Group Dances and Eight Solo Dances were presented before the audiences. In the end , a Grand Dinner and DJ party was also waiting in the Queue. The entire festival witnessed a joint participation of eleven hundred students in various competitions. The Head Co-ordinators of the event were later presented Awards of Appreciation by the Principal for the success of the event ..

Techfest, JIGYASA 10 at Global Institute of Technology, Sitapura

Three days Techfest, JIGYASA 10 was organized at Global Institute of Technology, Sitapura on 19th to 21st March, 2010.This has been sponsored by Genus,Club Mahindra,VIsion Craft, NAMCOM, Btv, Dainik Bhaskar, Red Hat Academy, CADD Centre. Around 800 students from various Engineering institutes across the state took part in many technical contests. Mr. Sanjeev Choudhary, Vice president corpate affairs Reliance Communication, Jaipur inaugurated the programme. He emphasized on the need for a proper understanding between industries and institutions to create a generation of youth who would play the vital role in our nations attempt to emerge as the super power in 2010. Technical events such as Abhivyakti (Technical Paper presentation), Tech IQ (Quiz), Codigo (On the spot Programming), Hardware Presentation, Path Finder, Aqua Soccer, Terrian Robo, Aqua Soccer were in store for the participants.

Other events were Soft vista, Circuitry, Infiltration, Complexity, Junkyard, Quizzera, Code Hunters, Industry Define Problem.
On the second day final rounds of the events were conducted. The winners were duly awarded.
On Final day the eve get started by soothing volume of Sitar and Tabla by classical gurus Kartik Shashadri & Vineet Vyas.

Later the remaining evening get rocked by the arrival of voice of India stars IRFAAN & PRIYANI. They sang rocking numbers with mind blowing performance and have the night blast till 11.00 PM
