Rudrika 09 at Global Institute of Technology, Sitapura

Rudrika-09 is the 7th Annual cultural fiesta of Global Institute of Technology, Jaipur. Staring from 20th March 2009 the event comprised of various cultural activities held in college. Competition like drama ,Poster making , collage Making ,Face Painting  Tatto Making ,Brain Twister Quiz, chants ,AD making, roadies, Antakshri, Rangoli ,Nach-Baliye(dance) and Deguisement (fashion show) were held during the event. These three days event started with the inaugural ceremony followed by the drama competetion in which children presented teams like dowry custom with humour before the chief guest and audience. During the first two days, active and busy participation was seen in the students for various activities and the most highlighted competition was the Thumki  (kite-flying). On 22nd march 2009 annual function of the college was held in the college lawn .The evening started with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest ,followed by the Saraswati vandana. Then the annual report of the college was presented by Mr S.K. Pokharna ,the registrar of the Global Institute of Technology. The program had a sequence of eleven dances and six fashion parade which bounced the audience  with the joy. Various academic and sport prizes were also given in the function. In the end, Dance party was throw on for the entire GIT students fraternity in which all the students relax after the event and celebrate the success of the program.

Techfest, JIGYASA 09 at Global Institute of Technology, Sitapura

Three days Techfest, JIGYASA 09 was organized at Global Institute of Technology, Sitapura on 19th to 21st March, 2009.This has been sponsored by Genus,Club Mahindra,VIsion Craft, NAMCOM, Btv, Dainik Bhaskar, Red Hat Academy, CADD Centre. Around 800 students from various Engineering institutes across the state took part in many technical contests. Mr. Sanjeev Choudhary, Vice president corpate affairs Reliance Communication, Jaipur inaugurated the programme. He emphasized on the need for a proper understanding between industries and institutions to create a generation of youth who would play the vital role in our nations attempt to emerge as the super power in 2010. Technical events such as Abhivyakti (Technical Paper presentation), Tech IQ (Quiz), Codigo (On the spot Programming), Hardware Presentation, Path Finder, Aqua Soccer, Terrian Robo, Aqua Soccer were in store for the participants.

Other events were Soft vista, Circuitry, Infiltration, Complexity, Junkyard, Quizzera, Code Hunters, Industry Define Problem.
On the second day final rounds of the events were conducted. The winners were duly awarded.
On Final day the eve get started by soothing volume of Sitar and Tabla by classical gurus Kartik Shashadri & Vineet Vyas.

Later the remaining evening get rocked by the arrival of voice of India stars IRFAAN & PRIYANI. They sang rocking numbers with mind blowing performance and have the night blast till 11.00 PM
