 RUDRIKA 2011, the Annual Cultural Fiesta of the Global Institute of Technology Society was celebrated on 9th March ‘11. Dr. S P. Gupta, Principal, GIT and other senior faculty members graced the inaugural ceremony. Competitions such as face painting , tattoo & rangoli making , antakshari , bet the bat ( cricket quiz ) , extempore , debate ,solo , duet and group dancing and singing , roadies, de-guiesment ( fashion show ) and many more were held in the tenure of 3 days . The Grand Finale took place on 11th March in the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Mrs. Jayshree Periwal, Director, Step by Step group of schools and the guests of honour, Mrs. Monisha Agarwal and Mrs. Anjali Agarwal, Members of Board of Directors, Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd. Dr. P.D Murarka, Principal, GCT presented the annual report of the Society. Students who excelled in academics, sports, extra and co curricular activities were duly honoured.

 The Annual Techno Management Symposium of GITS, Jigyasa ’11 commenced on 7th March. Mr. Rajendra Bhanawat, Director RIICO graced the inauguration ceremony.
The event comprised competitions such as robofloor , electromechania , softarena , mindware , lan games and literary arena . Jigyasa witnessed 42 events with mass participation of more than 2300 students from all over the country.The valedictory ceremony took place in the presence of guests like Mrs. & Mr. T. Srinivasan, the Ex Chief Secretary& Chief Commissioner, Mr. B L Soni, Commissioner of Police , Mrs. Rainu Singh , Director, Disha Foundation and Mr. Vijayvarghia, Vice President, Genus Power Infrastructure Limited .The programme came to an end with a musical concert by Mr. Rehman Ali and his troop
